CNN disabling comments

So lately CNN has been disabling the comments section after most of their articles. Of course they are allowed to do this, but should they be doing it? I don't think so. Especially not when they keep posting provocative articles. I don't like when people or organizations try to stop or control free speech. Why are they doing it? No clue. But I hope it doesn't last.

I think that people have a right to say how they feel and express their concerns. I like being able to add comments if they allow it. It lets people also ask questions about if something it not expressed clearly in the articles.

I'm sure they did this in response to a few bad apples posting comments there. It's not really fair to the people who need to say something. Not everyone is a troll or posts troll comments, so they shouldn't be treated as such. CNN should just hire better comment moderators rather than cutting off all comments.
