Were you a cheerleader?

When I was a teen, I wanted to be a cheerleader, though I was more of an outcast. I wasn't very athletic and not pretty like a lot of the other girls on the cheer squad. I still have regrets over not being part of that type of activity. I've always wondered if it was really such a big deal as they always seemed to be having such fun.

I don't like the stereotype that goes along with being a cheerleader, how they are just 'pretty faces' there to support the team. Those girls work extremely hard on their routines and have to put in many hours of practice to perfect the routine. And, no I wasn't a cheerleader. I was more into dance at the time.
