Does your music annoy your parents?

Sometimes, I think that my dad doesn't like my music. Whenever he's visiting, he asks me to turn my music down. Though I'm really sure the music is not very loud. I guess he just doesn't like my taste in music. And, that's been true since I was a teen. He likes his country music though, which is not really my style anyway. I'd rather not listen to his music, so I guess we are even.

My dad is actually pretty cool about music. He was from the Woodstock days, very early rock/metal and always tolerant of my music. He was never judgemental about my choice in music (even during the hair metal days). Looking back, I have no idea how he put up with some of that music i was playing at the time. >.<

Yes I am sure that some of it does. I listen to so much though that I bet they would like some of it if they gave it a shot. Like I am sure they would like some of the slower songs.

My music used to annoy my Dad however with my Mum she was quite happy for me to listen to any music I wished and was never too fussed about it. I believe that me and my Dad are both alike in so many ways but when it came down to music we were so different. He was always complaining and telling me to turn it down.

Nah not really, my parents find it fine that I listen to the music I do. I mean it's not really a problem we've spoken to or anything.
