Can you recommend a good show about vampires or wolves?

I really liked the Twilight movies and that got me into the whole wolf/vampire genre. I would love to find some really entertaining TV shows (not just movies) that have a similar feel as Twilight with either wolves or vampires (or both). Can you recommend a show?

I have not watched it yet, but I have heard about the Vampire Diaries. I have heard that some say it is good and others say it is not a good show. But I know there are a few seasons of it so it must not be that bad.

I've watched a few episodes of Vampire Diaries. I really wanted it to be good. And, sometimes I go back and watch a few more minutes of an episode. But, for me, it just doesn't seem like a very good show. The show is more for teen audience. So I could not really relate.

Lately, we've been watching WolfBlood on Netflix. You should give it a look if you have that.

The show is about a young girl who is coming of age, turning into a wolf for the first time. Her mom and dad and 'boyfriend' are wolves too.

It's a really cool show, about wolves but also growing up.

The show is based in the UK, so there's lots of gorgeous country side to enjoy.

The show is not very polished but the actors are convincing.
