Video Games and Violence Empty Video Games and Violence

Many people think and say that video games help promote violence and bad behavior. What do you think? I honestly think it's a load a shit. If anything, I think video games help people relieve their stress and anger in a way that doesn't harm others. We are a tightly wound up society. People need to be able to deal with the stress and pressure in a way that helps them without hurting others. I think people need to re focus on things like good parenting(monitor and limit time spent on gaming) and stop trying to blame other things and people when their children act out.

Adults can safely play games without having any affect on their behavior. There's no real harm in that. However,t here were studies that showed that girls who play violent games have a tendency to be more aggressive and pick fights at the same level as boys their own age, as opposed to girls who play less violent games.

Yes there is a lot of violence in video games. But that does not mean that it is all bad. If you are mature enough to play the game then it is fine. If you are not mature to know that it is fake, then you should not be playing it.

I agree with you entertainer. If you are mature then you should be able to paly any game that you want. Some kids are just not mature enough to play the games out and therefore they should be limited.
