When did you first get online?

My first experience with the internet was in the late 1990's visiting a public library where they had internet access. At the time, we did not have internet in our home, so the library was the fun place to surf the web. About ten years ago, just after my daughter was born, I signed up for internet access and went online and have been doing one thing or another online ever since.

I remember when I was in high school it was the first time I was online. I was probably a junior in high school. We used it for one of my computer classes. And then we had some free time so we got to explore.

I still remember the first time I used a computer, it was in the fourth grade. They didn't have internet connected to the computer so we just played educational games. We had a computer lab partner and shared the computer with that person for thirty minutes every day. It was the highlight of my day.

I am not sure when it was. It was a long time ago. I could not imagine life without the net right now. I use it way too much in my daily life.

Probably when I was around 7 or 8.

I always had a thing for the internet
